The Word of God is clear that “all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God” there is none righteous no not one”. Since this is true and the Justice of God cannot acquit the guilty, we needed one who was willing to take our place to satisfy God’s Righteous Judgement against sin, That One is the Lord Jesus Christ, who was, Holy, Harmless, Undefiled and separate from sinners, who became willing to take our place on Calvary`s tree because of God’s great love for us.
At the cross God spared not His only Son,” the Just One”, but Christ became our Substitute to pay the eternal price and penalty for all our sins. That payment satisfied the Justice of God forever, and God the Father could justly deal with all our sins. This is what the bible means when it says; “God made Him to be sin for Us, who knew no sin that we might be made the Righteousness of God in Him” ! If you haven’t accepted the finished work of Christ on your behalf, why not today? If you have… Rejoice in the Lord knowing the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ Our Lord.
